New Jewelry

Did you get any fun new jewelry for Christmas? Did you get that sparky cocktail ring you’ve been coveting or maybe you got those diamond earrings you’ve hinted for for so long.

If so, what did you get? Feel free to share!!

A New Year Means New Beginnings

Since we are ushering in a new year full of new things I thought now would be a good time to introduce a new blog into the mix. I originally started this blog as a way to help showcase my jewelry business but often, I found myself wanting to share more than just posts about fashion or accessories. So, I thought a new venue that would allow me to share whatever strikes me at that time, might be the way to go. I hope you’ll come and check it out! It’s going to be hard to get another blog started but I hope you’ll consider visiting often, leaving me wonderful comments and maybe finding some inspiration enough to share it on your blogroll.

Happy blogging in 2013!

Out with the Old, In with the New

I cannot believe that it’s already January and already a new year! I hope you all had a great time ringing in the new year. 2012 brought lots of great memories, but also brought lots of hard times and tears. My hubby and I made a lot of health and lifestyle changes which have been great, but in 2012 I lost both my Grandma and Grandpa-within two months of each other.

I know that in this life we will all experience sadness at the loss of loved ones, but these were my first family members that I’ve lost and it was very, very difficult. Christmas-time was bittersweet for me. I didn’t want to travel to Florida to see family because I knew that I would not be seeing my grandparents. I was a real Scrooge! I had a great visit of course, but it was very hard to go to the cemetery and know that I would not be able to see or hug them again.

I’m vowing that in 2013, I will adhere to my dream board of things I want to see, do and experience in this new year. I hope you all will stick around with me to see how it all unfolds. This blog may switch gears a bit in terms of content but I hope that you will still enjoy it.

Heres to a wonderful, healthy and prosperous New Year!

Go Big Orange

You can feel it in the air. There is a buzz about UT football. Living in a college town, you come to expect this, but people are ready for it. They’ve waited so long and tonight, the waiting stops. Tonight, we will have the kick off to SEC Football. Everyone will be out getting their new orange and white colors to wear proudly  in support of their team.

This is a very casual way to wear Premier while showing your school spirit.

Who will you be rooting for?

Looks for a White T-Shirt

Who doesn’t have a plain white t-shirt that they like to wear? I know I have several. Scoop neck, v-neck, boat neck…it doesn’t matter the neckline. I rock them all! I like wearing them under colorful shrugs and cardigans or by themselves with colorful denim (which is totally on trend right now.) Not sure how to wear this trend? This is a perfect example of how to embrace colored denim for yourself.

Here are some pics of how jewelry can change the look of a simple tee simply by changing it up.

Which is your favorite look?

Fall Chic

I know that I say this a lot on this blog, but I am in love with this look. I love everything about it from the gorgeous, rich color of the burnt orange handbag to the dark wash jeans to the Mink cocktail ring that I’ve had a crush on for a while now. I could totally see this look out everywhere. You could wear this grocery shopping, on a lunch date with a girl friend or catching a movie with your main squeeze. I totally approve of this look!

What do you think? What is your favorite part about it? I’d love to hear what you think.

So, I’ve totally been on hiatus for quite awhile now. Have you missed me? Aw shucks! Lots of things have been going on my way. I’m still working hard on my fitness goals for this year and I’m trying to get out and live life. For instance, I’m not one to like heights (understatement of the year), but for my hubby’s birthday we went indoor skydiving. It was HOT but a lot of fun. I was able to get pretty high up in the chamber thanks to my good form and thanks to my instructor for helping me too.

I haven’t been doing much at all with the jewelry business part of my life. I’m really taking some time to step and re-prioritize what I want and not try to be a people-pleaser when it comes to that business. I’ve lost some team members due to life things, i.e. businesses expanding, children getting older etc. I’m sad to have lost them as part of my team, but I think that we’ve built relationships that will continue on after that is over.

Thank you to everyone that has stuck in there with me via Facebook and/or Twitter. I’m still around so feel free to stop by any time!

Until next time…
