Fall Chic

I know that I say this a lot on this blog, but I am in love with this look. I love everything about it from the gorgeous, rich color of the burnt orange handbag to the dark wash jeans to the Mink cocktail ring that I’ve had a crush on for a while now. I could totally see this look out everywhere. You could wear this grocery shopping, on a lunch date with a girl friend or catching a movie with your main squeeze. I totally approve of this look!

What do you think? What is your favorite part about it? I’d love to hear what you think.

How To | Wear a Party Dress

Source via: Pinterest via Courtney

One my earlier posts showed a LBD and some fun accessories to go along with it. Imagine my excitement to see this beauty on Pinterest. This fun dress has a bit of a fuller skirt to it than the sheath style dress my creation had, but the necklace is very similar. This is as wonderful way to take a neutral shaded, party dress and add some subtle pizzazz to wake it up.

The necklace that I would pair with this dress would be Showstopper. Of course, the dress would need to be in another shade other than silver in order to really make this necklace pop. I would LOVE to see this color palette reversed so that the dress was this deep, rich plum and the jewelry sparkled like icing on the cake.

Could you see yourself in this fun dress? Is this more of a party dress or a dress you’d wear to an event, such as a wedding? Let me know!!

Colored Tights

Fall has definitely arrived in East Tennessee and I love it!!! The leaves are starting to turn colors which is so pretty to watch. I love that on my drive home, not only do I get to see the Smoky Mountains, but I get to watch as the tree lines dotted with golds, oranges and reds become more vibrant.

Today was going to be a chilly one. It was dreary and gloomy for most of the day. In fact, it was definitely an Eeyore kind of day. Oh bother! I wanted to dress stylish yet warm so here is what I came up with. I put on a fall inspired, rust-colored shirt and paired it with my denim skirt from New York and Company. I took a page from a fellow blogger, and finished off my outfit with rust colored tights to keep my legs warm and my tall chocolate brown boots.

What do you think? Do you like the look? Would you wear colored tights in your own daily wardrobe? If you do already, what’s your favorite look that you add them to?

I want to hear from you, so leave me some comment love and tell me about it!

Wow Factor

I am a sucker for wedding shows. I love Say Yes To The Dress, Four Weddings and my new favorite Amasale Girls. I don’t know what it is about those shows. Maybe it’s the tradition of it all or that they represent the beginning of your life together with your husband or maybe it’s because that is the day you will look your very best that keeps me watching. I’m not sure.

I was pleasantly surprised to catch up on my DVR shows and see the above bride really going against the grain with her jewelry. She totally could have gone the route most brides go down with their jewelry. Heirloom pearls or diamond drop earrings. But no, she did a statement necklace. Looks strangely familiar though. Don’t you think?

Fall 2011 Catalog | Sneak Peek

Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while. Last week I spend a few days in Dallas/Fort Worth with my Premier family. There was training, there was recognition, there was fun and lots of laughs. There was even a marriage proposal!

Here is a sneak peek at what you’ll find in our new catalog!!!

Ultimate Bracelet

This hinged bangle bracelet is one of my go-to pieces and I must say, I’ll be sad to see it go when it retires in July. Our retired list for 2011 has some surprising pieces on it but I totally trust Premier and their decision to retire certain pieces in order to keep the catalog new and fresh.

This hinged bangle is not only comfortable to wear all day at the office, but the embossed look of a faux alligator finish makes it fashionable to wear out on the town.

I paired this bracelet with the Ignite set seen here. The Ignite necklace is another on of our popular glass beaded necklaces. Ignite has large beads of genuine carnelian and genuine agate and are combined with a mix of glass beads to make this eye-catching necklace. It is 30″ and comes with a 3″ extender so you can make it even longer. The earrings, which may be a little unclear in the photo, have a single red glass bead suspended inside the textured oval ring that matches the necklace. These lightweight, fishhook earrings are 1-1/4″ long.

What do you think of Ignite? Could you this addition into your accessory rotation?

Must Have | Bold Necklaces

This is definitely an attention getter type of necklace. Worn with yellow as seen here or against a white eye shirt doesn’t matter. This bright, bold and refreshing color will look great with a lot of your wardrobe. Black, white, gray and brown all would look great next to this necklace.

Be bold this Spring and go bigger and more dramatic with your accessories! I bet you will get noticed (in a good way)!!

High Style

Who says khaki and white can’t pack a punch? While both tones are fairly neutral, I paired a white button down and khaki cardigan with my dark wash jeans and my fun open toed cork wedges. It was a fun, comfortable outfit and even though I was receiving computers and other gadgets in and moving them around, I still was able to move easily in this outfit.

I need to blog about my good friend the Clip It. It allowed me to wear this Soleil necklace that is normally a long necklace and allowed me to layer it with little effort.

Stay tuned for that post!!!

Are you ready for warmer temperatures and fun colors? What’s your favorite thing about Spring time?
