Fall Chic

I know that I say this a lot on this blog, but I am in love with this look. I love everything about it from the gorgeous, rich color of the burnt orange handbag to the dark wash jeans to the Mink cocktail ring that I’ve had a crush on for a while now. I could totally see this look out everywhere. You could wear this grocery shopping, on a lunch date with a girl friend or catching a movie with your main squeeze. I totally approve of this look!

What do you think? What is your favorite part about it? I’d love to hear what you think.

Jewelry Trends | Golden Globes

This years Golden Globes were all about glitter, sparkle and shine. That was evident from the lovely sequined gowns that seemed to grace the red carpet, all the way to the baubles that our favorite celebrities were sporting. I think when you are doing head to toe sparkle like Angelina Jolie, your jewelry should not compete with your dress. A simple cocktail ring and some understated drop earrings will suffice. On the other hand, outfits like those that were donned by Lea Michelle and Olivia Wilde are pretty but they looked a little undone, in my opinion. They needed something to really tie up their look. Some fun sparkly bangles would have done the trick.

Overall, everyone looked great. I love watching the award shows red carpet coverage to see what everyone is wearing. In an industry where you have to play a character and are rarely ever yourself, it’s nice to see how the actors/actresses that we love to watch on the big screen choose to portray themselves for the evening.

Embrace a new jewelry trend this spring! It’s a great way to express your individuality!

Must See TV

I have to say that I just love watching Oprah and The Rachael Ray Show and seeing all of my jewelry out there worn by others. I was Oprah’s second My Favorite Things episode tuning in to see  all of the goodies she was giving away this time. Much to my liking I saw several pieces of my Premier Designs jewelry line worn by the audience members. That was the best gift of all!

Here are a few of the pieces that I saw:  I saw Bellissimo necklace, Medallion necklace and Cinema too, and that was just in the first minute of the show.

This cocktail ring really is fabulous. I find myself wearing it all the time. In fact most of the time, I pick out the jewelry I want to wear for the day and build my wardrobe around that. If you are curious to see the full line of jewelry, check it out here.

Trends for Fall 2010 | Signature Coat

A coat is not just a coat and it’s not just an outer layer to keep you warm in the cooler temperatures. A coat is just like an accessory and it can make or break your outfit. Check out this signature coat from DKNY. Not only is this a fantastic style, but oh my gosh…the possibilities in accessories are endless. The ruffled stand up collar is very unique and since this covers your neckline, you could opt for a chunky bracelet and a bold cocktail ring rather than going with a statement piece necklace.

Melrose is a new cocktail ring from our Holiday Collection catalog. It’s fun swirl design with crystal trim detail adds just enough sparkle to your outfit without being too much. Pair the DKNY signature coat with a crisp white shirt and dark denim jeans and then add fun sparkly accessories to really stand out in the crown. After all, every girl needs sparkle in her wardrobe, whether it’s a sequined top or fun sparkly shoes or in her accessories.

Create your own style with your signature coat this Fall.
